  • “Barry Ben Sugrue – was my brother and this wine is dedicated to him. Boz was spectacularly gifted, an ardent and accomplished man, bright as the crisp-white paper his razor-sharp pencil raised perfection upon.

This Blanc de Blancs is my tribute, but truth is there is no fitting tribute to someone like Boz… Cuvée Boz is my attempt however.”

I crafted this Blanc de Blancs with long cellar-ageing in mind, and I am delighted with the results: it is everything you would expect from a mature English Blanc de Blancs – floral notes of white flowers and citrus, with precise and elegant fruit on the palate but with a weight and textural complexity that is only possible to achieve with extended time on lees in the winery.

This wine was vinified entirely in stainless barrels, without any oak, so a remarkable clarity and freshness shines through displaying toasty, flint-like minerality and a long, persistent finish.
